The Nanny Cradle Monitor is a certified medical device designed to monitor a baby's breathing. The device emits a loud warning in advance if the baby's breathing rate is too low. It consists of a sensor plate that is placed under the baby's mattress and an alarm unit. When the baby breathes, a green light on the monitor blinks in sync with the baby's breaths. If the baby does not breathe for 20 seconds or if the breathing rate falls below 8 breaths per minute, the device emits a loud alarm that only stops when the device is turned off.

As the child grows, the cradle monitor can be expanded with a separately sold Nanny Cradle Monitor extension pad.

Note: The device is only compatible with cribs that have a hard bottom.

Application:

1. Insert batteries into the device.
2. Place the detection plate under the mattress.
3. Attach the Nanny Cradle Monitor to the crib.
4. Connect the monitor to the base with the cable.
5. Turn on the device (the device indicates this with a green light).
