The Nanny Cradle Monitor is a certified medical device designed for monitoring a baby's breathing. The device warns loudly in advance if the baby's respiratory rate drops too low. It consists of a sensor pad that is placed under the baby's mattress and an alarm unit. When the baby breathes, a green light blinks on the monitor in time with the baby's breaths. If the baby does not breathe for 20 seconds or the respiratory rate is below 8 times per minute, the device emits a strong alarm sound that only stops when the device is turned off.

As the child grows, the cradle monitor can be expanded with a separately sold Nanny cradle monitor extension pad.

Note: The device is compatible only with hard-bottomed cribs.

Usage:

1. Insert batteries into the device.
2. Place the detection pad under the mattress.
3. Attach the Nanny cradle monitor to the baby's crib.
4. Connect the monitor to the base with the cable.
5. Turn the device on (the device indicates this with a green light).
