Thanks to three different conversion options, the cot provides you with a long-lasting solution: 1. you can raise the mattress base of the bed during the first few months of your baby's life. This means you have your child close to you and can comfortably put them in and take them out of bed. 2. as soon as your child is able to sit up independently, you can lower the mattress base to fulfil their growing urge to move. 3. when your toddler begins to crawl out of the bed independently, you can remove the front rail. This cot can even be converted into a junior bed. To do this, you need to purchase the Flexa Nova conversion kit for junior beds. Both the cot and the junior bed are made of FSC-certified wood and are part of the Flexa Nova collection; the flexible children's furniture series was created by the award-winning designer Charlotte Høncke. With this mattress for the cot, your little one can sleep well - and so can you. The mattress has a two-layer, high-quality foam core that provides your baby with a safe and cosy sleeping environment. The outer cover is made of 100% cotton, is easily removable and machine washable. There is a breathable, waterproof mattress protector under the outer cover, which is just as easy to put on and take off with a zip. Everything is certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
