The slatted frame is adjustable to three different heights, depending on your child's development. At first, your child sleeps in the bed with four closed sides. Once your child has grown, you can install the half-open side, which serves as a safety barrier. This prevents your child from falling out of bed, even on restless nights. Later, the half-open side can also be removed, allowing your child to get in and out of bed independently. Once the bed is too small for your child, it can still be used as a sofa.
