That's why the solution is the Chicco "Next2Me Forever co-sleeper". It is docked directly onto mum's bed and secured so that it cannot roll away.
This is because the co-sleeper is connected to the parents' bed using a belt system. The bed's two castors are fitted with brakes. The straps can either be attached to the slatted frame or run around the mattress of a box-spring bed, as the length of the straps is sufficient.
