Little children love being read to. They listen intently and with great excitement to the stories. You can almost see how they process the tales in their imaginative world. You may have noticed that young children especially love stories from our everyday lives and want to hear them over and over again. It's no wonder: For little ones, the ordinary daily life is still a mystery filled with many questions they want to solve and understand. In our Lotta books, we don't take them to fantastic worlds, but rather recount everyday experiences of toddlers. Our experience shows that these books help children understand their own lives, categorize their own experiences, and ask many questions. Through shared storytelling about everyday stories, we playfully expand their world of experience.
