it can be put on the monitor, but it is not tied exactly, you can move it easily

But it doesn't matter because you can adjust the base to the thickness of the monitor.
As long as it's not overly curved, no problem.

I use the BenQ ScreenBar Halo on an LG 40WP95x-W monitor without any problems.
It is quite flexible in terms of fastening.
I also have the screenbar on a 34" curved monitor.
It works without any problems! There is even an adapter for curved monitors, which is included.
