It very likely depends on the production time of the camera... Mine was still delivered without the "eye autofocus" feature. But I also ordered it about 10 months ago... At most, a Digitec employee can answer this question for you.

But the firmware is super easy to update. Simply download it and copy it to the memory card. Update the firmware with a full battery. I have never had any problems.
