Will this SSD run on an old notebook with SATA-1 interface? Would like to breathe new life into my ThinkPad X60s.

Yes it will. The SATA3 interface is backwards compatible with SATA1. Everything should work. Just remember that the SSD with SATA1 can only be 150MB/s fast, but the SSD itself can generate 500MB/s throughput. However, it will work without any problems.
