Will the Surface Book fit into the 14.1" version? The Surface Book has 13.5".

You can't really say it fits. The case is a bit too big and therefore not really suitable. Probably all 14" cases in general.

The Surface Book fits very well inside (material is slightly stretchy)
The thickness and depth fit very well.

Yes, that fits very well!
So with the 13.3" version, my surfacebook still has a bit too much play in the length for my taste. However, it says on the package that it is suitable for the Surfacebook.
