Why is the i7-8700k here 50.- CHF more expensive again? It was about 450.- a week ago, then the gaming sale came (which theoretically lasts until 1.10.18 according to the article) and the price was raised to 409.- and they pretended to give a 50.- discount, but the price effectively remained the same. And now the supposed discount is completely gone, although the sale is supposed to last until 1.10. Absolute cheek Digitec.

Here is a hint why the CPU is so expensive: http://www.pcgameshardware.de/Coffee-Lak...

I meant 350 instead of 450... I made a mistake. And this practice no longer has anything to do with supply and demand. As a consumer, I don't want to (and shouldn't) be lied to.

I generally wanted to buy one too, but the promotion seems to have just ended. Too bad 01.10.2018 is not yet over.

It is not Digitec that must be held responsible. The problem comes from Intel, which cannot deliver 14-nanometre engraving and the game of supply and demand.

Or Digitec does what it wants, since people seem to buy it anyway (:

There is probably a shortage at the moment, as many have been sold. In that case, just wait a bit or go for a similar model. The price will come down again at some point.
