Why doesn't the product description say that it only takes the old format of mini-SIM? Neither micro- nor mini-SIM can be used without an adapter. I tried it with an adapter with my nano-SIM card but it didn't work, it was too flimsy and I couldn't get a signal (No-SIM error). I hope the SIM mechanism of these USB modems will be adapted so that you can use the new mini and/or nano SIM without an adapter. Sliding the SIM in is an old technique that doesn't work with an adapter either.

The product description says "standard SIM". This was already the case when I bought my stick. Standard SIM means the large SIM. The others are called either Mini or Nano. I also use the SIM in the stick with an adapter and it works for me without any problems.
