Question about Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark II
Why does it say in the description that it records video at 60p, when it can record at a maximum of 50p?

Where did you find the information that it can only record at 50p? I only find 60p specifications, even on Canon itself [1].
If you own the camera and can only record at 50p, it's almost certainly your SD card (Class 10 or better UHS-I U1 is recommended [2]) [3].
