Question about Valve Steam Deck 256GB

Honestly, this is almost scalper level what digitec is pulling here. Shame on you, such imports are not worth a 300.- price difference but are simply usurious.

I don't think the price is fair either, since it's a US import anyway, so no purchase yet.

now even 10% in Steam for the devices, nothing is happening here price-wise :-(

It's quite simple: Here it is (at the moment or every now and then) directly available. Apparently there are enough people for whom the extra price is worth it. And as long as DigitecGalaxus gets rid of it for this price, those who don't think it's worth the price shouldn't care. You don't have to buy it for that price. And not here either.

To be honest, I am less and less a customer here, as a long-time customer I helped to make Digitec big, and like all the big ones they just want more money... but well, everyone has to know for himself how to drive his company against the wall...

The reason for the price difference should be obvious. The Steam Deck is a loss leader for Valve, they get money from selling games. If Digitec/Galaxus wants to make any profit from selling Steam Deck, which they do, the only opportunity they have for that is at sale.

Call you contacts in France, or elsewhere, then visit them for night-out playing games. Get back on the train next day with a brand new toy!

eh hello? the prices are really outrageous! I pre-order the console from Kaufxxxd, drive across the border to Germany and declare the product at customs and still haven't paid the equivalent of 599CHF (in your case for the 64GB MMC)! But then I got the 256 NVME version! Steam Deck will soon be available at the biggest online retailer! I feel sorry for those who buy the product here for way too much cash, the warehouses should be full with the deck because no one will buy it from you!

Mine (512 GB) is new and for sale for 870.- on Tutti. With original CH adapter.
