Why do so many people rate a phone they don't have yet? Of course the Exynos 990 processor is ridiculous. After all the criticism against Samsung, they still use it. Still. You should only judge if you own the device. Nobody is forcing you to buy it. My recommendation anyway: It's better to buy a OnePlus 8 Pro or something else.

1. ridiculous? It has about 10% less performance than the Snapdragon, which you won't see anywhere except in benchmarks. Since the Exynos variant has 256GB of memory instead of 128GB, I'd rather take more memory than an imperceptible performance increase.
Without Samsung, Qualcomm would have no real competition and would probably release a CPU that would be worse than the current Exynos. Intel is the best example of what happens when you have a monopoly in the high end.
