With the RTX3080, you will be able to play all games on QHD, i.e. 1440p, on Ultra. An advantage is certainly if you pay attention to G-Sync monitors, although Free or Adaptive Sync monitors are now also compatible. The 144 Hz are certainly good, if something more is suitable. However, to be able to use the full Hz, you will either need a monitor that already supports HDMI 2.1 or you will have to use Displayport.
