Question about FRITZ! Repeater 1200 AX International
What's the difference of this model (international) vs the "non international" one? Clicking "compare" I see the non international has max port speed up to 1000 Mbit/s (Gigabit Ethernet), while the international one: 3000 Mbit/s ... is that so? So the Swiss one is blocked to 1 GBit? Also, I've seen that the international one is single band online (bummer), while the non international one has dual bands 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, which is way better. Do you confirm? What about the electrical plug, as Swiss resident I'd like to know if it comes with the Europlug (Type C, 2 plugs) 100% compatible with the Swiss plugs... or the "fat" Type F one that we often get with appliances like coffee machines, toasters etc. and we need an adapter to use here? Or the Swiss Type J with 3 pins? Thanks

In the future, there will no longer be an “international version”. The update to FRITZ!OS 7.20 in summer 2020 puts German and international versions on an equal footing.
AVM is a German company and has been producing the FRITZ!Box mainly for the German market since 2004.
Since 2016, they have also been mixing up the cable market. In other countries, this is not so easy.
Other countries do not necessarily have nationwide router freedom. Since the standards were also not necessarily uniformly defined, AVM has developed a so-called “international version” for various countries (except Germany), which harmonizes with the Internet connections abroad. Since an international version needs much more adaptation than a German version, updates also took longer.
But now it was decided to combine the standards from the German and international market.
Thus, the two routers do not differ from each other technically, but the international version has several languages in the user interface.
