Skarp, I don't know exactly what you mean, but here's an attempt:
There is a generation for each model, but it is specific to each product. For example, with the camera hubs we are currently with the G3, before that there was the G2. For the traditional hub, there's the M1 and the M2. Here, with the more compact "E" line, it's the first model, hence the E1.
Perhaps you also mean the Zigbee version. If so, all the models I mentioned work with the Zigbee 3.0 standard. Except for the G2 camera version, all 128 connected devices also support Zigbee. So does the E1, it is also Zigbee 3.0.
Then, of course, there is one firmware per device. For the E1, the current version (as of February 2022) is 3.3.6.
