What is the audio quality like when making a phone call? Shrill and high-pitched, or warm and rich?

The audio quality is great, very suitable for people with impaired hearing. However, it is difficult for me to describe this.
There is another BUT. I have already had to send the phone in for a complaint because the battery won't charge. We have only had the phone for a month. The complaint has been in progress since 23 Sept 2020. This is the big surprising disappointment. I don't know yet if there is a replacement. 👎

The sound quality is good. My mother-in-law is ninety years old and understands everything very well.
The problem with the battery described by another user did not occur with this device. I am very satisfied with it.
