This processor is paired with an RDNA 2-based AMD Radeon graphics processor with 8 compute units and a frequency of 1.6 GHz. Valve worked closely with AMD to design this custom chip, specific to the Steam Deck. The CPU performance is in the same class as an AMD Ryzen 3 4300U or slightly lower than a Ryzen 3 3300 for a desktop PC.
