Unfortunately, I can't find much information about the integrated firewall. I am looking for a device that supports the theoretical value of 1 Gbit throughput. What does that look like with this device?

With the ZyXEL firewalls, the theoretical throughput rate for SPI firewall connections or VPN connections is specified. I have searched for this information in vain. I will switch to Fiber7 and accordingly do not want to limit the theoretical potential of the line with the procured devices.

The information that the router uses two integrated firewalls - SPI (Stateful Packet Inspection) and NAT (Network Address Translation) - is not enough for you? What in particular do you need to know?

Don't worry about it.
The 1 Gbit (per port, i.e. outside the device) is never reached by normal users anyway, because:
a) your internet provider (subscription) is only about 100MB = 0.1Gbit
b) WiFi performance (from Iphones, tablets, etc) is always < than 1Gbit.
c) No PC/NAS can read data from the disc that fast and send it over the network.
The only thing would be if you had about 20 devices (PC, Tablets, NAS, TV, etc) where each would send/receive about 0.1Gbit. Then you would achieve a throughput > 1 Gbit within the device.
With all these devices, however, the internal data throughput is a multiple of 1 Gbit anyway.
Conclusion: The question (consideration) is good, but the problem does not exist at all in the HOME area.
