This version is bound to the hardware - right? On the one hand it clearly says OEM, on the other hand it was claimed here that it is a transferable licence (retail). According to my research, however, this is incorrect. As far as I have found out, it is an OEM (hardware-bound) DSP (without support) SB (self-builder) licence. So you can transfer it exactly once to a new mainboard via a Windows account and that's it. My source for this would be: https://answers.microsoft.com/de-de/windows/forum/all/system-builder-lizenz-f%C3%BCr-privatnutzer/cdcde32a-8885-4dcc-8204-802052fa5652 Could a professional please give their opinion? I'm not sure how long the system will run under Windows and the licence will probably be transferred to another system in a few years' time. Thank you!
You can install this version on a PC. An upgrade to Win 11 is also free of charge afterwards.
If you use a new mainboard in 1 to 2 years, you can install and activate this Windows again. It could (but must not) run on 2 PCs. There are only problems with activation if you want to activate it for a short time in succession. But always use the Pro version.
