Question about Telekom 5G receiver SE white

This receiver will likely not work with any Swiss mobile networks. It connects (I see it in Swisscom devices dashboard), but looking through UI, and reading some T-Mobile forums it seems that T-Mobile uses IPv6 as end-user address, and none of major Swiss networks assign IPv6 addresses. Maybe some MNVOs do, dunno (but not Digitec/Digital-Republic). If any network assigned IPv6 address, it's still not certain it'd work. T-Mobile uses some complex 646XLAT in their backbone (translation of IPv4 into IPv6), so I suspect the SmartSomething router encapsulates IPv4 into IPv6 for the receiver. It's possibly a replicable procedure on Linux, or on Mikrotik, but it's hard to gurantee that w/o having T-Mobile sim-card to do some testing. If someone goes to DE, and buys a prepair card, I'll be happy to give it a try ;)

Many thanks for the tip. The article comes from DE, but such complications when setting up are not necessarily in our interest.
We will gladly accept the feedback and pass it on.
