This is not a question, but a description of a problem I was having and how I solved it. If you installed your own Windows version, this is: you formatted the hard drive and install something else, you may have problems with the drivers; for example: the USB Sticks connected to the USB-A port won't be recognized and the camera won't work. I tried everything here: 1. Installed Lenovo drivers from their website 2. Ran the Lenovo Think Vantage utility 3. Remove and reinstall the device 4. Ran Windows Updates 5. Reinstall Windows several times But the device: "USB 3.1 eXtensible-Hostcontroller" will be labeled with a yellow admiration mark and it tells that it couldn't be started. After calling Lenovo, they remoted my laptop and couldn't solve the problem either. At the end, I had to download the rescue media from lenovo as follows: 1. Go to https://support.lenovo.com 2. Click on: "PC / Laptops, Tablets, Desktops ...", then "View PC Support" 3. Enter the serial number of your laptop and hit "Enter" 4. Click on "Drivers & Software" 5. Under "Get Recovery Media", click on: "Order Now" and follow the instructions. The media is for free. You only need a lenovo account. Lenovo also give me those videos where you can see the process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kNLN2VBTeY8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gCgZxBc_-Q0
