This camera, which digitec does not recommend (what does Canon Switzerland think?), does not have an image stabiliser. On the other hand, does the lens in the kit have a built-in stabiliser? Thank you.
Yes, IS in the name means that it has a stabiliser. But it is urgently needed with this extremely low-light standard zoom.
It's the best full-frame camera you can get for the money. For 1000 Stutz more an R6 ii with IS? For that I get 3 prime lenses (50, 85, 35) and a second battery with the R8. No one needs IS, unless you do wildlife photography, then take an APS C from Canon or a Sony RX10 IV (still top for that). The Sony A7IV only has the better lens offer, but is otherwise clearly behind.
