The monitor appears to have a USB 3.1 type B port for "PC in", which is usually required to connect the additional ports (USB/Ethernet). The description also states that the monitor serves as a USB hub. Do I now need an additional cable to use the additional connections, or is it also possible to connect everything (image, sound, USB hub) with just one USB-C cable?
The monitor acts as a KVM switch. You can use the additional connections on the monitor either via the type B or via the USB-C cable. You can also transfer images via the USB-C cable. For example, you can connect a laptop via USB-C and a desktop PC via type B and monitor cable. When changing the input, the monitor then switches the peripherals automatically.
