The display should be identical to that of the Z9. Can the protective film also be used on the Z9?

Yes, the same display foils fit as those of the Z 9. Have fun with the Z 8 ;-)

I would never switch to Nikon, because I don't know if I can attach a lens without any problems... 🫣 Of course it is desirable that Canon opens the RF mount for third party manufacturers or builds good and affordable lenses themselves. I for one am very happy with the R5 in combination with the RF 100-500.

I would never switch to Nikon because I can't be sure if the lens will hold on the camera. Yes, it's a pity that Canon doesn't make more affordable yet high-quality lenses. However, I am very satisfied with the RF 100-500 in combination with the R5.
