Question about Microsoft Surface Book 2

Stupid question: I bought the Surface Pro 2 4 years ago. I'm going travelling now and would like to take it with me, but it's a bit heavy with the current keyboard. There are other, lighter keyboards. But the Pro 2 doesn't have an integrated stand at the back, so the tablet wouldn't hold up anyway? Is there another alternative?

Please note that part of the battery is in the keyboard part. I.e. only the "tablet" does not run as long and not as well (as far as I remember, it needs the additional "juice" of the keyboard battery for better graphics performance). The criticised weight comes from this battery. If you don't need it, buy a stand and your favourite keyboard. Another thing that might be worth mentioning is that the original keyboard protects the display, of course. You'll have to find a solution for that, too. The lightest keyboard is of course the Windows soft keyboard, which is shown on the display - but it is impractical when the device is in a stand.
