The test results of the Magic Powerline adapters were disappointing overall.
Despite various combinations of settings (2400 Mbps MIMO, 1200 Mbps SISO) and switching between different protocols, no noticeable improvement was achieved compared to my older dLAN 1200+ adapters (purchased in 2015).
The measured transfer rates were consistently in the range of 100-150 Mbps, far below the promised maximum possible 2400 Mbps.
- Both the powerline connection and the connection via a Wi-Fi mesh network proved to be slower than a direct Wi-Fi connection via the primary SSID.
