Question about AMD Ryzen 9 5950X (AM4, 3.40 GHz, 16 -Core)

So Digitec and Brack are the official Swiss dealers. Brack continues to take pre-orders, no such option from Digitec?
I would really like to get hold of 5950x or 5900x. Can people with those CPUs post their address so that I can break in and steal the CPU? :-)

*goes running to UBS to store the 5950X in the most secure vault* Yeah sure, no problem... xD *loads shotgun*

Regarding preorder, I actually prefer what Digitec is doing, if they can't secure stock for their clients, it's better just not to take preorders. My preorder (on launch day) took a month and a half to be sent, meanwhile I was stuck with a machine that I couldn't use. I had to buy a R3 3100 to be able to work while it didn't arrive

Yes, but you would have been stuck both ways without a 5950X. With pre-order at least you know you are in a queue and no one can jump in front of you. Imagine you had not pre-ordered and had waited 1.5 months, then someone who never waited for the CPU just comes and by luck buys it the moment it becomes available.

With the Brack system, people can still cancel their order anytime. I know, there is no perfect solution, I am just frustrated! ;-) I have Asus Dark Hero, RAM etc sitting here with no 5950X or GPU lol

Maybe I should get a 3100 for now like you did. It is like getting a Ferrari and putting wooden wheels on it :-)
