Shortly after the warranty expired, the left 3cm of the touchscreen no longer seems to respond to touch. The stylus works, but a finger is no longer recognised over the entire height. Of course, this also affects the Windows button and the first 4 icons in the bar. Does anyone happen to have an idea if there is a solution, this is a case for a (potentially expensive) repair or I have to learn to live with it? I am reluctant to declare a 2.5kCHF device as hazardous waste after just over 2 years.
I had a similar problem with a Lenovo tablet. The only solution was to rotate the tablet (portrait format) so that the start button moved into the usable area. Alternatively, try rearranging the start bar, which should still work with Win 10.
