Shortly after the warranty expired, the left ~3cm at the full height of the touchscreen no longer reacts to touches. Of course, this also affects the Windows Start button and the first 4 icons for starting and makes scrolling with the left hand very tedious (as well as some other things, of course). I am reluctant to declare a 2.5kCHF device as hazardous waste after just over 2 years. Is there anything I can do myself, is a (potentially expensive) repair possible or will I have to learn to live with it?
