Not every chest strap fixes the load as well as the leverage of a GoPro incl. gimbal (e.g. FeiYu Tech WG2X) and then wobbles quite a bit during rough vibrations (e.g. MTB downhill). What is the experience with this chest strap in relation to gimbal use? Does the plate also fix larger loads? Merci in advance for your feedback.

Unfortunately, I don't have any experience with Gimball compared to older versions, but with older cameras (I have a hero 6 with only a little image stabiliser) there is still a lot of shaking.

Unfortunately I can't tell you anything about this, except that a gimbal is not absolutely necessary, as the stabilisation with boost works sensationally with the 8 series (except in low light).
