Question about Devolo Magic 2 LAN triple starter kit
My telephone socket and my internet box are in the basement of my house and I would like to extend the wi-fi to the first floor (at the moment it does not work at all). Can this Devolo starter kit with two adapters connect my box on the ground floor (where I will place the 1st adapter) and the 1st floor (2nd adapter)? The two adapters communicate with each other and relay the signal from the basement, is that right?
In general, this item does not support WIFI. It can therefore not be used to extend the wireless network from the basement to the first floor.from the basement to the first floor in case you connect your internet box with a cable to an adapter that is located in the basement that will extend the network to the first floor. in the basement which will extend the network through the power lines to the first floor while on the second adapter it will have a LAN port in which you can connect a WIFI access point or router which will provide WIFI connectivity to that floor/area which its WIFI signal covers.
But there is a similar set with WIFI support: Devolo Magic 2 WiFi 6 Starter Kit (2400 Mbit/s) This will allow the WIFI connection of the devices to the second adapter which will be placed on the first floor and which will get an Internet connection through the power lines of the adapter placed in the basement which will be connected to the Internet box by cable.

What is the difference between wifi 1 and wifi 2? I don't know.
But I could put one basic adapter in the basement, the second one on the ground floor and the last one on the 1st floor. Do the adapters on the ground and first floors communicate with each other, knowing that my internet box is in the basement?
