Question about Garmin epix Sapphire
My Epix 2 shows impossible ascents and descents despite calibration. I run my 800m laps every day, on a flat surface (no slopes) but the watch shows up to 100m ascent and descent. My Venu 2 was faultless in this area and showed a maximum of 2m to 3m difference in altitude. After contacting Garmin, they more or less waved me off with empty phrases.... . Has anyone had the same experience?
It may happen that the altimeter does not work properly, but it should be possible to recalibrate it, as you have already tried. If it still does not work, you can return the watch within the warranty period. It can then be repaired or replaced.
