My device has been losing the 5G connection every few days. A restart fixes the problem and it works perfectly again. Does anyone know the problem? Has anyone solved it? Unfortunately, a firmware update did not work.

Hello Beat
In my case, the G5 connection was active for a few hours after restarting the NR7102 and then switched to 4G.
In my case this came from Swisscom. (Router with a direct view of the Swisscom antenna)
Now that we've had 5G for a while, the connection remains stable, but Swisscom throttles it from +1Gb to +-300mb after a few hours.
For me, the provider is the problem. The router does what it should.
Greetings
Tomas

I have the same problem. I had already opened a support case with the manufacturer. Unfortunately, I couldn't prove that it wasn't the provider that was disconnecting. I have a 5G plan from Galaxus, but I don't have another device that can do 5G. It only occurs when I download large amounts of data at high speed. That's why I've now throttled the speed on my Asus router to 50 Mbit, which makes it stable but unsatisfactory. What particularly annoys me is that it cannot re-establish the connection without a manual restart.
