Question about Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K (5th generation)
My colleague has a Sharp TV that unfortunately does not currently support Disney+. So can she just buy the stick, put it in and then download the Disney+ app for free via the stick and watch it (with the associated Disney subscription, of course)? Does she need an Amazon subscription or any other subscription for this or is the use of the stick and the download completely free and without restrictions?

+ Can be taken along on trips very well (WLAN or mobile hotspot is needed where needed, nothing more).
Shortcoming because Switzerland is not in the EU:
- Sky Ticket (currently blocked APP for Switzerland, possibly 2022?)
- Sky Go (app currently blocked for Switzerland)
Otherwise almost everything there is to get in the Android Store, or supplementary with APK files for special apps to download. :-)

Yes, in principle, but Amazon Firestick is not optimal in Switzerland. I recommend the Google Chromecast with Google TV or the Nvidia Shield TV. The devices are more universal and can install all applications approved for Google TV. Both can also do Disney+ and also offer DolbyVision. One Google account is enough.
