Question about RØDE Nt USB
My ring mount from the RODE NT is broken. Where can I get a replacement, or what other options are there for mounting? The microphone will then be attached to the RODE PSA1.
digitec support was not helpful here. For people with the same problem, which is apparently not uncommon: contact Rode, describe the problem, mention Switzerland, they will then set everything in motion so that you only have to contact the Swiss distributor. https://twitter.com/totoloworl...
Apparently this is a known problem, the exact same thing has now happened to me. I can't find a replacement for the ring holder anywhere, I have now written directly to Rode. Has anyone had any success with solving this problem?
If it's not your fault, it's basically warranty or they would even have to replace it out of warranty because it's an obvious design flaw/fault. It also happened to me today...and my microphone just hung on the Rode PSA1 without being moved and then the microphone slowly came down in front of me until it fell into my hand.
Update for 2025: You can order a spare part on the Rode website with the help of AI Support. It's very straightforward and very quick :)
