The Samsung 980 PCIe 3.0 NVMe™ M.2 SSD is not compatible with the PlayStation 5. A PCIe Gen4 M.2 NVMe SSD is required for compatibility with the PlayStation 5. Alternatively, we recommend the 980 PRO Heatsink NVMe™ M.2 SSD. The integrated heat sink ensures low system temperatures even under heavy workloads and thus a reliably high performance.
