Is this object suitable for an aps-c sensor or not? Does anyone have any experience?

Yes is possible, since this lens is already quite "old", I would rather look at Tamron or Sigma for newer possibilities.

You don't need any experience. It just corresponds to a 36-157.5 mm lens. Would make little sense to me. The Tamron 17-70mm is much better suited for APS-C.
You can also use it on an APS-C camera. The only real limitation is that the focal length is 35-160mm.
