Question about Delock 89297 PCI Express 4x USB 3.0
Is there anything specific to make this work with Ubuntu 22.04 ? I got 2 using PCIEv3 with SATA cables and both keep dropping connections. The slots work with other expansion cards but the odds of getting 2 defective units are also low
Works for me without any problems. However, it disconnects if external devices draw too much power, which is possible with old external HDs at full load.
As far as I know, this part does not work with SATA cables. You have to plug the card into the slot provided on the mainboard and connect the power supply.
