Is there also just a protection for the lens?
Hi SwissFord,
the camera has a retractable lens with a shutter. So when the lens is retracted, the shutter is closed. That way it is protected. You can find the parts of the unit and information about compatible bags online on our support page.
It is not recommended that you sit on a chair or other place when the camera is in the back pocket of your trousers or skirt, as this may cause the camera to malfunction or be damaged.

There is the automatic blade shutter when the lens is retracted. Lens caps and filters cannot be attached.
My solution: camera bag, fold it shut but only close it with the push-button when needed. Works perfectly.
Same answer:No, it doesn't make sense. There is automatic protection at the front. The lens is retracted when it is switched off.

NoApple answered this correctly, lens is protected by an automatic flap mechanism.
