Is there a difference to the Sony XQD card apart from the fact that it has a faster read and write rate? I'm surprised that the price of the Sony XQD card is higher despite its poorer performance.
As I understand it, CFexpress Type B cards can achieve these higher transfer speeds over XQD because they use a newer implementation of the PCIe protocol. Both have the same form factor and slot, but your device must be able to support CFexpress Type B. As they are therefore "different" products, there may be these price differences.
