Question about Nikon Mc-Dc2

OK for taking photos. But video? What does the manual say under accessories?

The MC-DC2 or the ML-L3 can only be used on the D3200 to take photos. To shoot film, the special red film button at the top next to the shutter release must always be pressed. Unfortunately, the D3200 does not have an explicit film mode like other Nikon DSLRs. Also, the function of the shutter button cannot be reprogrammed.
