Is the mouse also suitable for the Ipad pro 5th generation with all gestures? I had a Magic mouse first or 2nd generation, where e.g. the scrolling did not work.

I can say that you can use the mouse (scroll, click; you see a grey dot) but you can only change apps using the home button.
