Question about Devolo Magic 2 WiFi 6 Starter Kit
Is the LAN adapter from the Starter Kit required? I would like to create a W-LAN network directly at the modem. Do I have to plug the LAN adapter and the WiFi adapter into the modem or is there a more sensible solution? A z
Lan adapter required? if you already have the Devolo Magic 2 Lan 1-1 from the previous version, then no, otherwise yes.
The Lan adapter must be plugged into a socket and must be permanently connected to the router/modem via the network cable.
The Wifi adapter must be plugged into another socket and connected to the Lan adapter via Wifi (several Wifi adapters can be connected one after the other).
The Wifi adapters are then plugged into your socket in the desired rooms and devices (PC, TV) can be connected to them with data cables.
In addition, a WiFi adapter is to be installed on the first floor.
