Question about GoPro Karma Grip Gimbal for Hero 5 / 6 / 7 Black

Does it make sense to use the Karma Grip for the GoPro 7? It has an improved image stabiliser out of the box or would that be overkill?

Do you mean the mounting ring for the gimbal (ACOMC-001)? It is not included.
