Is it possible to use the elgato with the ipad? Record or display analogue signal in the ipad? Thank you.

In my opinion, it is only possible via a PC, i.e. not an iPad or iPhone. Because it goes via the USB (A) interface/cable and it needs software. You can transfer it via the PC to iTunes, but I don't think you can transfer it directly to the iPad/iPhone.
