Is it possible to make Time Machine backups to an external disc via this router?

You could (according to the specification) but for me, even after 3 attempts, it always stopped after a few hours (200GB backup size) via WLAN.

My brother also has the same ASUS and tried it with a USB-C to Ethernet adapter and it always stopped there too.

So it doesn't really seem to work reliably...
