Is it possible to control the volume via software (e.g. on a Mac with the internal volume control)?

I have windows 10 and it is possible.

The volume control on the speakers cannot be operated via software, but if you set it loud enough, you can of course still turn down the volume via software (whether connected via cable or Bluetooth). I tested it with Android and Mac. It just doesn't go any louder than the manual slider.
